Mushroomed, an outdoor installation at Stonehill College, is thriving in spite of the weather. The success of this experiment is going to spawn many more outdoor textile installations for me in the future. I'm grateful to the Cushing-Martin Gallery for their interest in keeping this piece installed after the show, Stitched: Nature Constructed, closed back in early December.
Very fun piece, will have to try and see if I can see it in person, though I think I will wait for the sun to come back out. Hope today's rain doesn't hurt it.
